LEARN ABOUT YOUR POLISH HERITAGE THROUGH SONG AND DANCE!

The Syrena Dance Ensemble has been teaching children ages 3 to 18 about Polish Heritage and customs through dance and song since 1975.

Syrena performs a diverse repertoire of Polish Folk and court dances. .

Syrena's suite of dances is choreographed according to the different age groups. Each group has  unique and colorful costumes. Many of our students start with the group at preschool age and enjoy their presentation ball during their senior year of high school

This environment is a fun opportunity to learn about your Polish Heritage through song and dance.

To be a member of the Syrena Dance Ensemble the student must be a member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) To be a member of the PRCUA, you must purchase and maintain an active life insurance policy.

The Syrena Dance Ensemble is now accepting children for our 2009-10 dance year between the ages of 3 to 18 years old. Registration will begin on Wednesday September 16, 2009 in the St Linus Activities Room at 6:30 pm, dance classes also begin the same night  please look at the schedule below to see the group and time your child will start. St Linus is located at 6646 N. Evangeline in Dearborn Heights. St Linus is located just East of Beech Daly, West of Telegraph, North of Ford Road and South of Warren Ave

                                                         Group I (Preschool and Kindergarten)             6:30-7:00 pm
                                                        
Group II (First through Third Grade)                  7:05-7:45 pm
                                                    
     Group III (Fourth through Sixth Grade)              7:50-8:30 pm
                                                        
Group IV (Seventh through High School)         8:35-9:15 pm
