GRADUATES
Since Syrena's inception in 1975. Syrena is proud to have over 100 dancers (to date) who have been honored and presented as graduates of the Ensemble and from their respective high schools
This year we will be adding other name to an already impressive list: Our 2010 graduates is Sara Zalewski
Sara is the seventeen year old daughter of Andrew and Lori Zalewski. She has been an active member of the Syrena Dance Ensemble for the past fourteen years. As a member of the Ensemble she has performed at many local festivals and events throughout the years. Sara is a senior at Garden City High School where she maintains a 3.8 GPA. She is captain of her high schools color guard and winter guard. She has performed at competitions around the state, including Michigan State, Central and Eastern Universities as well as the Michigan State Fair and local parades. Sara is a member of St. Dunstan Church where she volunteers in assisting in the religious education program and belongs to the church's youth group. Sara plans on attending community college in the fall and then go to Michigan State where she will major in Veterinary medicine
